Speaking of all these great movie cars, has anyone ever seen "Harold
and Maude"?
There were a few nice cars in the movie including an awesome hearse
and a late 60′s ‘stang, but my absolute favorite movie car is the Jag
that Harold converted into a mini hearse…

Perhaps someone should compile a list of movies that feature great cars…

There is such a list in a book, which is out of date and also out of
print, unfortunately.
Since ‘Cars in Movies’ is an interest of mine, we try to put into stock
every such movie currently available on video – and we list them with about
60 total auto-related videos in our catalog.
I will be happy to postal-mail one to you if you email your address.

Last week I saw here in Munich "Tatjana", the newest film
of Aki KaurismŠki. It’s kinda road movie, where the car
is black Volga station wagon from mid-sixties. There was
style in that!

Well, I believe "Fit for the Chase" is out of print, but Ron Main
(Main Attractions) just released one and naturally the name slips my mind.
"Races, Chases, and Crashes" comes to mind but Classic Motorbooks has it
in their latest catalogue ($14.95).
Had some really obscure listings (Burn ‘Em Up O’Connor, Teddy at the
Throttle") and you could tell that he was really into Biker movies more than
cars but an invaluable reference IMNSHO.
