Good evening: My father owns a 63 Futura and someone broke the pass taillight.
I am going to get one from a Falcon tomorrow.  Do not know the year yet, but
pre-63 for sure.  I will look it over for condition of parts.  BTW, where are
you?  The entire car is for sale.

Hi Dennis, I live in Ottawa Canada. This makes is a little difficult to get these
parts, but I am still quite interested. To be more specific, I am intereted in
a rear tail light, a right front door handle, left front fender, and front hood.
At least thats what comes to mind at the moment.

I am unable to E-mail directly to someones address, so we will have to
    communicate through this news group.

    Thanks for looking
    steve.

Good evening: Hmm, that would explain the nasty notes I got from the post-
    master!
Went to see the Falcon and the guy was gone for the weekend.  Did look at
it from the road and driver fender and door took a big hit.  Could not see
the back half of the car due to another car in the way, but looks like a 61
four-door.  Car seems complete.  Will try again this weekend.
Would a 63 tail light be different.  I can get ONE from my brother.  Is the
rf door handle inside or outside unit?  Will check on hood.
    Later.  Bye – DEEJ

Good Day: What do you mean when you say, "Hmm, that would explain the nasty notes
    I got from the post-master!"?

I think a 63 tail light would be the same but I’am not sure. I will have to check
on that. The door handle that I need is the outside one.

    Thanks.
    Steve.

Hi, guys. Been reading your posts.  My mom drives a ’60 Falcon, and some
(expletive deleted) busted out her driver’s side door window and broke her
outside mirror as well. We have another ’60 for parts, but the mirror had
to be ordered from somewhere in CA.  I will phone and ask my brother where
this place is, and post here for you tomorrow.  I’m not sure if Mom is
willing to part with a door handle, and also not sure it would fit, but I
    will ask.

    Good luck!

I expect you will find the ’63 tail light fits but is differently
shaped from the 61. It seems to me that the earlier tail lights
have a "cylindrical" protrusion in the center while the ’63 is
"conical"  like a dagmar. also in ’63 you could order a reverse
light option which is a white "cylindrical" protrusion in the
center of the tail light lens.
Here in Calgary I have bought sheet metal parts from an outfit
called "Fender Mender" and "Cross Canada Auto Body Supply – Auto
Centre Parts" (403)277-4425. I expect you should be able to find
similar suppliers in the Ottawa area. (We have bought new sheet
metal for ’56 ford, 63 falcon, 65 mustang). Also keep looking at
any local "help yourself" bone yards, I found a premium quality
hood for my ’63 ranchero at one here.

Hi: DJ here, the original responder here.  I have an uncle who cut the
back off of a 61 Ranchero cause it would make such a NEAT trailer.  Oops,
it looks like it is unit body!!!, he says.  There is no frame to mount
anything to.  The whole mess went to the scrap yard!!!  DJ
